The Exceptional Home Center has been in business for 18 years. It started as a small custom-order business for local people who were building homes. As their homes were built, furniture was ordered.

As the business grew, a decision was made to open a store front. Lighting, accessories and furniture were made available in the store for purchase. In 2000, a new team took over the management of the store. Highly skilled with color and interior decorating, our team has worked diligently to provide our customers with the newest, the finest and the most beautiful furnishings, accessories and finish-out products available.

Our exceptional team began creating exceptional interiors for the model homes of local contractors. From color to flooring, from lighting to hardware, our goal is to turn “nice” into “fabulous.” The store has expanded several times to meet the needs of both our residential and our commercial customers.

Over the years, The Exceptional Home Center has become a trendsetter rather than a trend follower, while holding fast to our roots…custom orders. Our team at The Exceptional celebrates the fact that one size does not fit all. Our customers choose the fabrics, the pillows and even the legs on the furniture pieces you select. You also choose the finish that best suits your hardware needs.

When it comes to flooring and lighting, our team will help you select the perfect fit to match the overall look and feel of the room. Helping you decide which accessories will add just the touch you need to complete the look is another one of our specialties.
